The CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line told a press conference today that he knows the name of the third Prima-class ship – but he won’t reveal it yet.
Talking on Norwegian Prima’s inaugural voyage, Harry Sommer gave no clues as to what title will be given to the ship next in line after Norwegian Viva, which will debut next year.
However, clues may lie in trademark applications made by NCL in October 2019, when Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva were also registered.
The other names listed then were Norwegian Ombra, Norwegian Bella, Norwegian Ultima, Norwegian Vela, Norwegian Luna and Norwegian Aqua. Norwegian Aura was added to the wish list in January 2020.
Given that there will be a total of six ships in the Prima class, the odds of at least some of these names being used must be pretty high. But which one will go to the third?
To me, Bella sounds a worthy successor to Prima and Viva – but what’s your guess? Tell me in the comments or reply to one of my tweets.

Luna or Aqua 3rd. Ultima will be 6th. By definition Ultima would be hard to beat if she was any earlier. Imagine the technology that could be on the 6th!
