More than 400 people are getting an early taste of what the world’s newest biggest cruise ship will be like – on dry land.
They are taking part in a fun event to promote Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas to Britons who have never cruised before.

A venue in London has been transformed into ‘Symphony of the Senses’ to showcase accommodation, destinations and entertainment offered by the 5,500-passenger ship when it launches in the Mediterranean in March.

Visitors get to slide into a ball pit to experience the Ultimate Family Suite, take part in a jungle shore excursion, enjoy this sounds of Mexico, go backstage at the musical Hairspray and be dazzled by the vivid colours of the Sugar Beach Candy store.
Royal Caribbean, which attracts an average adult age of 42 among families cruising for the first time, aims to persuade more young people on to its ships by highlighting the fun activities on board.

The pop-up event at Victoria House in Holborn runs today – Friday, February 2 – and tomorrow, with some walk-in tickets still available for Saturday, although space is limited. Visitors who post photos on social media tagging @MyRoyalUK and #MySymphony will be entered into a competition to win a family holiday on the ship.
