Since P&O Cruises announced their five ‘food heroes’ for new ship Britannia next year, some readers have asked when their favourite chef will be on board. Here’s the rundown:
Patissier Eric Lanlard will be on cruises B502, B508, B522 and B524. They are:
- B502: Britannia’s maiden cruise – March 14, 2015, for 14 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Gibraltar, Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Rome.
- B508: Maiden cruise break – May 23, 2015, for seven nights. Round trip from Southampton to St Peter Port, La Coruna, Bilbao and La Rochelle.
- B522: Portugal, Canaries and Spain – September 25, 2015, for 14 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Ponta Delgada, Madeira,Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Lisbon and Vigo.
- B524: Portugal and Caribbean – October 23, 2015, for 14 nights. Southampton, Madeira, St Maarten, St Lucia, Dominica, Grenada, Barbados.
Saturday Kitchen star James Martin will also be on B502, as well as B510, B513, B521 and B523. They are:
- B502: Britannia’s maiden cruise – March 14, 2015, for 14 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Gibraltar, Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Rome.
- B510: Spain, Monaco and Italy – June 13, 2015, for 14 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Vigo, Alicante, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Genoa, Rome, Cartagena and Gibraltar.
- B513: Round Britain – July 6, 2015, for 12 nights. Round trip from Southampton with stops including Edinburgh, Invergordon, Liverpool, Dublin and Cork.
- B521: Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar – September 14, 2015, for 11 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Vigo, Lisbon, Cadiz, Valencia, Cartagena and Gibraltar.
- B523: Spain, Monaco and Italy – October 9, 2015, for 14 nights. Round trip from Southampton to Valencia, Barcelona, Cannes, Rome, Ajaccio, Alicante and Gibraltar.
Atul Kochhar will spice up voyage B504, which is a 14-night round trip from Southampton to Spain, Monaco and Italy stopping at Valencia, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Florence/Pisa, Rome, Alicante and Gibraltar.
And Marco Pierre White will be on board B509, which is a 14-night round trip from Southampton to Scandinavia, Russia and Estonia, calling at Kristiansand, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Bruges.
Dates for Olly Smith are still being finalised.
