February can be pretty cold and damp in Britain, but P&O Cruises is offering the chance to escape to paradise with a 40-day no-fly voyage to the Caribbean on adults-only ship Aurora next year.
Starting at 2,149pp – or around £55 per person per night – the cruise will leave Southampton on February 20, 2022, and call at 16 sunshine ports: La Coruña (Spain), Madeira, St Kitts, Guadeloupe, St Lucia, Grenada, St Vincent, Barbados, Bonaire, Curaçao, Aruba, Dominica, Tortola, St Maarten, Antigua and Tenerife.
If you can’t take that long off work, the 1,874-passenger ship will also visit the Canary Islands for 12 nights, leaving Southampton on April 1, 2022, and calling at La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon. Inside cabins start at £599pp.
A third guest in the same cabin can travel from £199 on both new Aurora holidays, which will go on sale on Tuesday, July 6, at 9am.

The new itineraries replace the 2022 world cruise. Aurora is already lined up to do a world cruise in 2023 and another global voyage for 2024 will be announced later this year.
P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: ‘The Caribbean and Canary Islands are hugely popular with P&O Cruises guests, so we’re delighted to be giving more options to enjoy some winter sun in early 2022 on Aurora, our ship exclusively for adults.
‘Due to the global travel limitations still in place and the complex logistics involved in a world cruise, many months in advance, sadly it is just not possible to continue to offer this in 2022. We’re extremely sorry as we know how much our guests look forward to this trip of a lifetime.’
