Cruisers wanting an unprecedented view of the total solar eclipse in 2027 will have the choice of two Princess ships – Enchanted and Sky.

Both will be on a 14-night cruise leaving on July 24 that year – Sky Princess from its regular home port of Southampton and Enchanted Princess from Civitavecchia (Rome) – and will meet at a prime viewing spot off the coast of southern Spain on August 2.

The other Princess ship sailing from Southampton in 2027 will be Majestic Princess, following its first-ever round-trip season from the port in 2026. It will sail around the British Isles and Northern Europe.

Sky Princess will offer Northern Europe and Mediterranean itineraries, from March to October. Returning in 2027 is the 31-night Mediterranean Marvel, heading to Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Malta. Between them, Sky and Majestic will offer 45 departures from Southampton, compared to 32 in 2026.

In all, five Princess Cruises ships will make more than 200 sailings from UK and European ports in 2027 ranging from seven to 46 days. The first Sphere-class ship, Sun Princess, will sail between April and November from Barcelona, Civitavecchia or Athens (Piraeus).

Enchanted Princess will offer itineraries from Civitavecchia, Trieste, Athens (Piraeus) and Istanbul between May to November.

Caribbean Princess will sail round-trip Copenhagen itineraries for the first time, taking guests to ports across the Baltic, including Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki. On August 24, 2027, it will make the line’s maiden call to Aberdeen, as part of a 16-night British Isles and Canadian transatlantic cruise from Copenhagen to Boston.
