These are photos I took as the first journalist to step on board Saga Cruises’ new ship Spirit of Discovery when it arrived in Dover on Friday (June 28, 2019). I’ll be back on board on Tuesday (July 2) for a two-day mini-cruise to Bruges* and attending the naming by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on Friday (July 5) so please follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for many more pictures and updates.
(*this was changed to a voyage along the Kent coast due to a ‘slight technical issue’ which was quickly resolved)
